Submission/Publication Fees

Submission Fee

A Submission Fee is required for each manuscript at the time of initial submission.

Standard Rate: ¥10,000
Waiver Policy: The submission fee is waived for authors who are members of the Toho Medical Society.

Article Processing Charge

Upon acceptance of the manuscript, an Article Processing Charge (APC) is applied to cover the costs of publication and open access hosting.

Flat Rate: ¥30,000 (Applicable to all article categories)

Special Notice: APC Waiver Campaign
To support our research community, the APC is currently free of charge for all accepted manuscripts through October 2028.
